Q: What brought you to KeHE? How long have you been with the company?
A: I was hired as a Data Entry Operator in 1988 and was hired to key in orders on the old terminals in the 80s.
Q: Tell us a little about your role at KeHE and how it’s changed over the years.
A: I started in IT and worked in many other departments including Customer service, Sales, Buying, and Warehouse Inventory Control.
Q: How has KeHE fostered your growth within the company?
A: Throughout the many years, my bosses have been very responsive to what I wanted to learn and fostered my growth in every department.
Q: What are some of the biggest changes you’ve seen during your tenure with KeHE?
A: The technology!
Q: During your time with KeHE, what milestones are you most proud to have been a part of?
A: Both my girls were born within a day of me working! I was one of the first employees to work from home. I have been to many food shows and have met and worked with many folks across the country. I have been around since the conception of NTS and have become one of the NTS superusers and trainers.
Q: What has been your favorite memory during your time at KeHE?
A: There are too many to even fit in a book!
Q: What legacy do you hope to leave behind with KeHE?
A: I have always been the type of person to learn something and train someone else in the skills I know. Many of the trainees have moved into high positions in the company, which makes me so proud. I have always been happy with the positions I have been in. The people I have met have made me the person I am. 36 years is very hard to isolate in one questionnaire, but the recognition I am getting here as a face of KeHE would be the highest recognition I have received. I am very humbled.
