Today, we are highlighting Roosevelt Severe, an Operations Trainer who has been with KeHE for more than fifteen years. He has been a huge asset to his team, and we are grateful to have him working for us.

Q: What brought you to KeHE? How long have you been with the company?
A: As a young man, I was looking for a job/career with stability and opportunity to grow. I had a little experience in the grocery industry, so KeHE was a perfect fit for me to optimize my skills. I’ve been with KeHE over 15 years.
Q: Tell us a little about your role at KeHE and how it’s changed over the years.
A: My current role at KeHE is Trainer of Operations, but over the years I held numerous roles including Selector, Quality Control Associate, Utility Associate, and Warehouse Trainer of Operations.
Q: How has KeHE fostered your growth within the company?
A: KeHE has fostered my growth by helping me reach goals and a potential that I never knew I had, especially in a heavy industrial and fast-moving environment that comes with working at KeHE.
Q: What are some of the biggest changes you’ve seen during your tenure with KeHE?
A: Some of the biggest changes I’ve seen over my tenure at KeHE are the technological advancements and cultural diversity.
Q: During your time with KeHE, what milestones are you most proud to have been a part of?
A: Learning how to operate heavy machinery and being able to learn the inner workings of KeHE has been one of my proudest moments at KeHE.
Q: What has been your favorite memory during your time at KeHE?
A: One of my favorite memories during my time at KeHE is when I reached my ten-year mark. I never knew that it was possible.
Q: What legacy do you hope to leave behind with KeHE?
A: Pushing yourself every day to become a better version of yourself, not just on the job, but in life. That’s a legacy I hope to leave behind.
